Apple Inc Includes "The Beatles" to iTunes Store

Great News from California, Nov 17, the Giant of Innovation Apple Inc has included the most influential and beloved rock band in music history, The Beatles, to the iTunes store. This is a milestone in the music industry with Technology Meeting the Music Lovers.

From November 16, 2010, the group’s 13 legendary remastered studio albums are available with iTunes LPs, the two-volume 'Past Masters' compilation and the classic 'Red' and 'Blue' collections for purchase and download on iTunes® worldwide as either albums or individual songs.

A special digital 'Beatles Box Set' featuring the 'Live at the Washington Coliseum, 1964' concert film, a worldwide iTunes exclusive which captures the Beatles’ very first US concert.

Sir Paul McCartney expressed his real excitement to bring the Beatles’ music to iTunes. It’s fantastic to see the songs we originally released on vinyl receive as much love in the digital world as they did the first time around.

There is also a stream and view the 'Live at the Washington Coliseum, 1964' concert film from iTunes for free for the remainder of 2010. Apple co-founder Steve Jobs said: "We love the Beatles. It has been a long and winding road to get here."

Hmv spokesman Gennaro Castaldo said: "This is a landmark event - the holy grail that many in digital music industry have been waiting for. Also, in the UK we could soon see a singles chart dominated by The Beatles' most popular songs."
